I runed the demo but now whene i downlaod the alpha, the game is crashing and DirectX 9 is download ...
I bought the game with Desura, and this is the message :

Hi MannauMalo,

Looks like something is going wrong when creating the shaders. Which graphics card do you have? You could also send us your C:\ProgramData\Running with rifles\rwr_game.log, it might tell something about where the problem happens.

I shearch a lot and RWR is on desura documents,
and i didn't find rwr_game.log ...
edit : I have rwr_game.exe.manifest

On Windows 7/Vista, the log is at C:\ProgramData\Running with rifles\. C:\ProgramData is a hidden/virtual folder, just type it in your Windows Explorer's address bar and you'll get there.
On XP, the file should be located at something like C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Running with rifles.

Any chance it's at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Running with rifles?

This works on Windows 7 as well, can't verify about XP:

Also, I highly suggest updating the graphics card drivers, you wouldn't be the first one that has helped.

If everything else fails, you could still try to run the game with OpenGL. You'd do that by launching with a parameter opengl. If you're using the Desura desktop app to launch the game, you'd access the properties dialog on RWR in the game list, and add opengl to Play - User launch options.

It certainly crashes early on to the initialization sequence. It doesn't even get to the point where it would output the capabilities of your graphics card in the log, which would actually start right after the point where it crashes for you.

One thing I see peculiar in your log is the video mode you have, 800 x 1280. Are you playing in portrait mode for a specific reason? I'd suggest you to try a few other video modes in Configure Running with rifles.

Which brings me to another question, does the config tool work without crashes on your PC? There's also rwr_config.log which could be interesting to see.
