Hey there,

I've tried to play multiplayer at a uk based server, I'm from spain. Thought my internet conection could be better, I play other indie multiplayer games with no hard synch problems. The thing is i get desynched from time to time and the charachter freezes. It was just me online there. Do you guys have experienced the same problem? I like the solo gameplay, but what i want most from RWR is the online mode. I'll try to join the next online gather this week to see how it works.

Try the US Servers. They seem to work really well for me. I'm from SE Europe and I have a download speed of 1536 Kbps.

it doesn't really matter what connection speed you have, as long as you are only the client.
The netcode is quite sensitive to an unsteady ping.
I suppose that your ping isn't very steady if the "out of sync" issues happen quite often when you play on a server.
Try to ping for example http://www.google.co.uk for a while and see your response. If the latency is about the same then you shouldn't get often out of synced even if it's quite high.

Thanks for the info! What i got when pinging google.co.uk at the time column goes between 84 and 92 when more or less steady, with some peaks +10/20 above from time to time. There are other computers conected with the WiFi connection I use, and that's something i can't control. I guess that's makes the ping more uncontrollable.

I already could play 60 minutes straight on a US server (110ms ping avg for me from good old Germany) with not a single OOS. If you are behind a shared (WLAN) router it could be a problem especially if your mates are heavily using the upstream.
