in wanting to start the game, I get this error http://s2.subirimagenes.com/otros/previ ... -ttulo.jpg I installed everything it said on the web, and I could not fix it, please help I really want to play this game, tnx |

I know you said you installed everything that was said in the web site, I'm still going to verify that you did install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=5582, correct? Are you trying to play the demo or the full game? Also, which Windows version do you have? |

All right, let's examine this a bit. Can you navigate to C:\Windows\winsxs\, and look for folders that start with "x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_", like here http://modulaatio.com/runningwithrifles/winsxs.jpg. Which folders do you have? |

Ok, seems you've got the folders I'd expect you to need in order to run RWR, but for some reason now they are not being used by RWR. I seriously doubt this will work, but you could try copying the .dll files in x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.21022.8_none_bcb86ed6ac711f91 to where you've got RWR installed, and then launch RWR. |

They've got some hints for these kinds of issues here http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerr ... -error.htm Number 7. "Run the sfc /scannow System File Checker command to replace a missing or corrupt copy of the msvcp90.dll file. If this DLL file is provided my Microsoft, the System File Checker tool should restore it." seems interesting if you have a feeling there might be something wrong in your Windows. |
