As far as I know, this game isn't built for Mac yet, with Wine or not. :P pasik is attempting to get a Mac OS system so he can work it out, though.

So is it just cause i have a mac cause my bro downstairs has the same problem and has a pc :/

we can't give you much support on this as a Mac port hasn't been done yet and we neither have a Mac to test it with wine. Also we never heard about anyone who tried to play it online with a Mac and Wine.
And for the rwr_game.log, it should be somewhere, not sure where wine saves it.
In win7 it's in %AppData%/Running with Rifles/ if that helps to find it on your Mac as in Wine it probably use the same directory structure to save stuff.
