Just a minor thing... I played a lots of games so far, and when I have 10th rank I can theoreticaly have max squad of 10 soldiers. Problem is I never ever get 10/10. It is ALWAYS 9/10. As I do not really count them, I can not tell in this very moment whether it is that I do have squad of 10 soldiers, but counter is telling 9/10, or is it really impossible for some reasons to have 10 soldiers in squad. But both sitiations are essentially a bug.

And to make crystal clear - when player hit 10th level there is virtually no AI bots which could "steel" soldiers from my nose. So that is not a case. Also it can not be a case that some AIs are to high in chain of command for me to "recruit" them into my squad, as no AI have such high rank (exept of special vehicles drivers, but they are rare).
Could it be a case that other players are steeling that final one soldier? Could... But all the time? No - I very ofthen find myself being the "lone wolf", and yet I am unable to have 10/10.
Could it be case that there is simply only 9 soldiers in my vicinity? Oh, yes... It is quite ofthen the case - ofthen, but not all the time. I find myself surrounded by quite big groups of allied soldiers, that are lower ranked than me, and which numbers are betwen 15 - 20. Even than my squad counter is reaching 9/10 and not a soldier more.

As I said - I did not counted soldiers "manually", but always watched squad counter - it never reached 10/10 for me. It may be because it does not count properly (so I do have 10 men squad, but it still showes 9/10) or it is impossible to have 10/10 for some reasons.

This is only case in recent version! In previouses versions I had many times 10/10 squad. Also, because I was playing this game a lot (really, THAT GAME IS A BLAST!!! GREAT WORK!!!) I can almost be sure that having bad luck is not a case.

Finnaly - is it not strange that I have wrote such long post over something that is really absolutly MINOR problem, that does not influence any gameplay aspect? I find it qute strange

I am not a fan of big squad myself so I usually page down them if I have a high rank. I just tried it out though and indeed I didn't achieve to have a 10/10.
I'm sure pasik will look into this.

Can't look at the code right now, but I believe this is related to the change that was made recently to make it easier to have at least one squadmate when you have at least / only one squadmate slot. This could potentially lead to those with more than 1 squadmate slots having their last slot empty always / almost always, if AI doesn't want to fill the last slot unless it's the only one.

The reason this was done is that being at rank 1 most of the time used to make you have 0 squadmates, as your only squad slot's score was as good as anyone else's last squad slot. I recall some sort of boost being added for such a case, somehow related to making it easier to get that only slot filled, especially with a medic.

I can't be absolutely sure about this, but I think when we played map8 online the other day with players starting with 10k XP, I at least think I could bring 10 bots with me from the starting bases when they showed lack of morale to join the fight by themselves. I could be wrong, of course.

Needs more investigation.
