Here comes the change log:

surfaces: changing map could leak visual foot step effects to be created on surface types they should not appear
mapmode: made flipped map z-movement reversed
mapmode: fly camera functional again
map4: less bumpiness, too steep bumps looked bad, caused difficulties to shoot
map4: West and East bases changed
map3: generic building roof texture added
map2: changed a few platform appearances, added a few spawn points to help the edge base matches
map1: fixed mansion ladders
lighting: both contrast and brightness added slightly, e.g. snow on the trees appears brighter now
achievements: new stats and achievements added
achievements: stats and achievements visible in menu
opengl: opengl renderer added, can be taken into use by launching with parameter opengl; mostly this is for enabling Linux game client
vehicles: slide noise sounds added
vehicles: little bit of gear simulation to engine sounds added
vehicles: sliding physics reworked
vehicles: collision sounds added
vehicles: leaving jump distance increased, should no longer take a bump from the vehicle
vehicles: spawn truck seats make soldiers disappear
vehicles: weapon slot support added
vehicles: APC added, with gunner seat for turret and 6 slots at the back
vehicles: truck, no longer possible to spawn at the truck when it's broken
vehicles: truck, no longer possible to spawn at the truck when it's on the move
vehicles: truck, 6 rear seats added
ai: deserter bug, where some of the ai soldiers ended up far away from everything, fixed - thanks to Ivan for providing a savegame to investigate the issue!
ai: balance settings touched slightly in hopes to help with the last base fights
weapons: apc cannon added
weapons: ricochet particle and sound effects can now be defined externally
weapons: muzzle particle effects can now be defined externally
weapons: barrel offset, referring to the position where bullets come out from, can now be defined externally
explosions: toned down impact on vehicles
buildings: elevated roof works now ok on multistory buildings

as a side note, here's the Linux port progress:
* OpenGL rendering basically works
* OpenAL audio works
* input works
* network probably works as it does on Linux dedicated server, not tested

Linux port work still to do:
* Cg shaders fail to load
* where should the application data (settings, saves) be stored -- is there a preferred way other than just put them in a folder under the game folder?
* clipboard
* what kind of package is expected for distribution, i.e. how to handle dependencies?

New bugs found:
- APC shooting works properly only on even ground
- Driving vehicles on a dedicated server seems almost impossible, hopefully this can be fixed on server side

Just adding that the vehicle issues when playing online on dedicated servers seem to be coming from differences how RWR Linux and Windows builds are set up to handle floating point calculations. Tried the vehicle on a desktop Linux too and it definitely doesn't behave the same way on Windows.

All right, located a bug in the dedicated server build, will have 0.73.2 up and out in a few minutes. Driving will once again make more sense. No need to update the game build for this.
