Just a FYI, I have seen the AI use the rubber boats on occasion in St. Anne. It's a rarity, though. With their current top speed, I can't blame them for not using them more often! :P

Weapons sometimes indeed are invisible, probably related to one of the optimizations, haven't yet cracked what's triggering it.

I think you can resolve it by switching it with your secondary weapon or taking it through your backpack, not sure.

I have a feeling the vehicle driver drops his equipped weapon as invisible if he gets killed, but haven't been able to prove this yet.

I haven't tried them yet myself, but they were certainly in use pre-0.93.

I think part of the reason they use them so rarely is that once they drive the boats closer to action from the bases where the boats had been spawned, they get left there until the area becomes occupied and again forces are called to move from there to another location.

Having a timeout with idle vehicles could help to alleviate this, to cause the vehicles auto-destroy and respawn back at bases, and new spawning bots / defenders getting promoted to attackers could take them into use.

What ever happened to the m79? You guys said it was added, and I saw com jac made a vid and the green team had the m79 in the armory, just checked now and its not there? Balancing I would assume..?

It should be there (on quick matches at least). In the campaign it's not a stock weapon, it need to be unlock through a quest.

Mid evil quests now? Man RWR just raised the bar on how awesome a video game should be xD.. So if I unlock it through a quest (Which Quest?) Will it be available to buy at the armory? Or Is it a rare weapon? I saw it on a grey one time, killed him but he didn't drop it... It just Decimates my guys in campaign..

soldiers sometimes drop briefcases when they die. You need to sell them at the armory with the cross-like marker and it will unlock a weapon.
