Very cool update. Things I would like to see related to medics include random bots wearing the armor (giving the player a chance to use those medikits in single player), experience awarded for healing, and possibly some bigger incentive for being revived rather than respawning.

Apart from that I'm still excited to see whether or not and how the AI will use the new strikes, and if they'll eventually be able to pick players up on request when driving (rather than me chasing them down like I do now).

Anyway, keep up the good work. You continue to amaze me with these updates!

we will add some random bots to wear a vest in a future update. We just don't want people abusing killing wounded soldiers with a knife to farm the bonus XP. Killing a wounded soldier should give 0 XP imo.
For now when you heal a mate, you only get the same amount of XP you'd get when killing an enemy of his rank, but that will also be increased in later updates.

Oh, good point about knifing. I didn't even think of that. I agree though, killing a wounded soldier shouldn't give xp. As always, thanks for the reply.

Just a heads up, 0.88.1 will be out soon. Map4 had incorrect configuration with names making it unable to load if installed on a fresh un-RWR'd PC, map1 gets the hangars enabled as cargo truck delivery targets for Invasion.

Exactly. 0.88.1 is available now in Desura and BMTMicro. The version won't change in-game as only resources had to be updated.

Wait, it's not over :D In our series of daily releases, 0.88.2 is coming up!

Changes will include:
crash: fixed a bug with ai clean up when changing a map, happens especially if an AI is on the driver seat when the map changes (think about it)
vehicles: it was possible for tracks to remain shown after the tank had been destroyed and cleaned up
vehicles: some glueing issue fix attempts made
commands: XML chat bug fixed
inventory: RP fractions no longer displayed
