Hey guys, So I've always been using the G36 in game but recently, during many pvp skirmishes, I have began to favour the AK more. After using the AK for a while and switching back and forth, I feel that the G36 is lacking in a feature that makes it equal or better than the AK. It seems a but underpowered in comparison. Now, I see no reason to ever use the G36 because to me, the AK rules in close quarters, distance and kill power. So I suggest a way to make the G36 a whole new weapon type, an accurate, low power AR. With higher accuracy but lower kill power, I feel that this will change the way players use the two ARs and will give a more obvious split to the two guns. It will also favour the G36 in range combat/accurate fire while favouring the AK in close quarters/midrange/suppression. Not sure if anyone else feels differently or has experienced any different but to me, the AK is vastly superior to the G36 right now. What do you think? ComJak |

In my mod the G36 has a lower kill chance, lower spread per hit, higher base accuracy, and faster projectile velocity. As such, G36 is used in short bursts (1-3 shots) at long ranges. AK, due to the higher kill chance but lower accuracy - often better in close ranges (though effective, just not as effective as G36, at long range as well) While the way it is in my mod is a little extreme (completely changes the gameplay), having some more minute changes would be interesting. |
