Can this be reintroduced in the next update?

yea I would like to see this again, I remeber playing the demo, then i bought the game, the option was no longer there .

I would like it if we could go even higher then 1000.

Tried it btw in map2 with 0.58 or something very close to it. It was nowhere near playable with my 2008 dev PC, framerate was 0-5fps off the top of my head.

1000 soldiers makes around 140 soldiers per base in map2 with 7 bases, and the bases are very closely positioned. I wouldn't be surprised to get 300 active soldiers at the same time, which really hogs down the performance.

I personally like it when there's 100-150 bots in map2. Enough to have almost always action and not too much so that you can mostly keep track on who killed you

Some of us have new fancy machines that can easily take care of a 1000+
