Almost there now with the release of beta 0.58, just need to test the water in online a bit and adjust map1 heights slightly to get the water areas to the places they are supposed to be.

And another one for the night, had a little knife-fight there while trying to sneak to the enemy's side:
Fighting in water is rather peculiar as you can only use the knife while swimming, it gets quite humorous quickly. AI also happens to be pretty dumb in what comes to behaving near or in water, but it'll easily do for starters.
Larger water areas should become more interesting in the future when the vehicle support is added -- some type of boats would fit there nicely indeed.
Other changes coming in 0.58:
- slightly closer camera, bigger voxels
- better soldier falling down motion
- much awaited clipboard paste functionality, with Ctrl-V and Shift-Insert
- footstep sounds and dust effects are now correct for all roofs and platforms too
- changed the way first floor texture patterns are generated
- knife can now be used while falling down, e.g. jumping off the roof
