Hey guys,

for the next bigger update (should be released around beginning of June) we'll add some "hints" for when a map loads.
Those need to be kept as short as possible. We didn't start with the content yet.
If you have any ideas, feels free to share!

Here is one example:

Some things that needs to be told to noobs all the time:

Dont destroy cargo truck, drive it to armory for RP bonus and item unlock.
Dont drive armory- or spawn truck if you dont know what you are doing.
Single shots are better for long range than automatic fire.
To capture base, get in to the dotted area shown in the map.
Collect and return loot to armory fo RP's.
Use medikit to heal wounded players. One day you will need help too.
You can choose spawn point by clicking yellow diamonds on the map.
If you get encircled to the roof, try to hold your fire if possible. Enemes go away after a while.

I noticed that some Ai have had conversations talking about these "hints", like the impact grenade thing I think I saw some talking about. It's subtle, but that also seems like a good way to integrate them into gameplay. Just having the Ai have their little discussions about some of these points is cool.

Weapons are tools - choose right tool to right job. There is no "best" weapon.
LMG needs You to prone before fire, unless behind a cover.
Use impact grenade on vehicles - frag grenades on infantry.
Stun Grenades have large blast radius, but they do not kill.
You can respawn only with Your faction's weapons, unless You unlocked other faction's weapons.
To unlock other faction's weapon, bring of them to Your armory.
Vehicles are easy target to anti-armour weaponry - be carefull!
USE COVER!!! (this one is no brainer, but still worth mentioning and even putting in red!)
Don't let dying demotivate You! In RWR You will die a lot!

C4 and claymores can be disarmed by knifing them, just be careful while doing so.
Rare does not mean better, know your gun and you can out gun an m-107 with a m16.
MG's, TOW's, and Miniguns are great for holding a line even if a player doesn't use them the AI will.
[classified] are close range [classified] so use them as such.
IF you can use one have a vest they are the difference between life and death.
Stun weapons such as the mgl flasher and pepper duster are great when supporting LMG users or turrets.

IF driving a tank stay at the rear, let you allies pick off the anti tank soldier while your gunners get everyone else.
Shotguns are highly specialized weapons keep that in mind while using one.
a suppressed weapon has a 100% kill chance if the enemy doesnt' know you are there, so use stealth when using them.

Machine guns are superior suppressing weapons. Spray where the enemy is to keep them behind cover.
Keep vehicles behind a layer of infantry. Armor doesn't last long against AT and grenades.
The rifle will be your basic primary weapon; anything else is a specialty weapon.
If you can see the spawntruck and the enemy in the same screen, the spawntruck is too close.
Grenades are cheap and plentiful on the battlefield. Use them liberally.
Keep an eye on your ammo counter! You have to manually reload when it empties.
Mortars do not always fall where you designate them.
Stuck in a stalemate? Search and destroy their comms!

here are some weapon hints


The m107 is a powerful gun, use it against vested targets and officers to see why.
The p90 is the strongest smg in the game as such keep them close.
the WB-II microgun is a powerhouse of a weapon, though be warned it is useless when used from cover.
the AA-12 is the only automatic shotgun in the game as such it is the best assault shotgun.
Rare doesn't mean better it means specialized get a feel for the rares and find which one fits you.
You can unlock enemy weapons by bringing 5 of them to an armory.
the f2000, xm8, and ak-74u are all different despite all acting similar as such try all three before judging.
C4 makes great manual anti tank mines.
claymores are good for defending ladders when using a roof to snipe.
Snipers are weapons of range but they can kick ass in close range if used right.


Joke hints
The golden knife exists you just have to find it.
We fight this war cause some one spilled coffee on a launch button.

I found mistake in this tip. My own mistake I might add. It should be:

"You can respawn only with Your faction's weapons, unless You unlocked other factions' weapons."

Small change? Maybe... But never the less mistake it is. What I was thinking about when making it - I have no idea ;) Or maybe I am just pedant in that matter? Still worth pointing it out :)

Also small suggestion - why not pair this TIP with another tim that says how to unlock other factions' weapons?
