ok thanks. i was aware it would probably look very bad but ugh i feel bad emptying 5 clips onto someone without realizing there's a hill blocking my bullets. the red dot thing is slightly confusing, sometimes it turns green then red on and off a lot of times

Use the obstruction helper line visual, I feel it helps a lot. It's "helper & line" (or something) in the visual options menu.

yep I have that on, however in the heat of battle I often forget it when I'm tracking my cursor against an enemy since the helper line is too transparent/bland IMO. the game is absolutely terrific, definitely top 5 of indie games i've played, the only thing that is a tad bit frustrating seems to be the aim. perhaps an option to increase the line's visibility would be great

another problem with the aim, for example why do i sometimes hit the ground when my my aim was right at an enemy? the bullet lands about 10 inches infront of me. maybe if i was crouched that would of made sense but i was standing.

Turn Isoline up some, it'll help you notice terrain variation more.

That reminds me of something I wanted to ask. In the older versions isolines above you were lighter, and ones below you were darker. Now they all seem to be the same shade. Am I missing something here?

You're not. They all are same shade now.
