So, I downloaded 0.94 from Steam, then Running With Hedgerows 0.94, installed it as always. I start the game, click quick match, press setup mods - and nothing. There is no mods showing up. P.S: I still dont have rwr_log. |

I was to verify that you installed where Steam installs the game, like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RunningWithRifles. I know I'm confused at times as I've got Steam, Desura and standalone installations all in there. They all see the same saves and settings, but not mods as mods are specific to the location of game files. ..and packages isn't the right place, overlay mods go to media\overlays\, except if RWH comes with maps which makes it not an overlay mod. |

Yeah, of course I installed it there. UPD: Solved by creating overlays folder, lol. No bugs in launching the mod found. Thanks a lot, Pasik |

Hm, it's working on my end. Did you name the "overlays" folder with an "s" at the end of it? I found that to be a hard thing to catch when I tried installing mods. EDIT: Alright, nice! ![]() |

Speaking of the folder setup. Why isn't it something simple like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RunningWithRifles\Mods. I don't mind the current setup, but I bet if there was a single folder in the RunningWithRifles directory that was created on installation titled "Mods" (even if it was empty) it would save a lot of confusion for newcomers. My argument for doing it this way would be that when you right click a game in Steam, go to properties, and select view local files the "Mods" folder would be the first thing that would pop up since it would be in the main directory, which would simplifying things even further. It's also a pretty standard folder layout for games with mod support. Just a suggestion, don't murder me. ![]() |
