Post subject:	Any way to play SP with persistent character?
Hi guys, Firstly let me say how much I'm loving the game! Super fun times! But I was wondering if there's any way to play with a persistent character across Single Player games? I never manage to rank up or get enough RP to mess about with the powerful stuff in one game

There will be a proper way to do this in the following 2-3 updates, but right now your best bet is at running rwr_server on the same PC you're running the game, setup the server at least for persistent profiles (and potentially for automatic map changing or Invasion using the provided scripts), and join the server using localhost as IP.

Hi faecalist, You should be able to set your starting rank when you begin a new game. This allows you to bypass all the work needed to play with the big toys ComJak

you might also want to just play on an existing online invasion server if your ping is good enough

Also, actually, if this is about the match ending too soon to get RP and XP enough for mortars / paratroopers, indeed it helps what ComJak said to start with higher rank, but also you could make the game length longer by starting with less bases than the enemy and/or use higher AI accuracy.
