I am very eager to see a part of the RWR community playing as organized teams and not just running around like chickens ;)
For now all the sessions were for fun without much tactics, which is fine but imagine 2 teams with voice communication and a piece of a plan about what to do, imo this could be epic.
As far as I know {SAS} would be up for a clan war (they aren't a competitive clan but that doesn't matter, just some mature beerdrinker dudes who want to have fun) but they still know each other and can also communicate via Teamspeak. Now we'd just need a clan to defy them...

I'm so in for something like this. But as you say, voice communication is damn near essential for the teamwork. Typing takes too damn long in the middle of battle.

Making a clan (or whatever it may be) work properly takes time though. School kills most of mine, so I don't think I could organize something like this right now, but I'll gladly join in for something like a once or twice a week tactical teamplay session.

Curious to see what others have to say about this aswell.

Maybe it would be possible to add a MOTD for the server that informs people about the TS3 server?
Something as simple as

I think more people would use it then. I would think most people just connect via the ingame server list, and then they wouldn't know about it if nobody told them.

Currently the game doesn't support private messages so an actual MOTD wouldn't be possible. It's possible to make the metagame script announce messages to all, e.g. periodically or when a match is starting/ending.

Also, it's possible to define a comment that is shown in the serverlist in-game.

I do have a message of the day type thing, but it has to be done manually from the server console, so it doesn't done a lot, lol!

Only problem is: no other clan is active. There is only one other but only joneau is active from it.

Ach, stick on {RwR} tags and jump in. As Jack said, it's nothing serious, just a bit of fun and a chance to try out some tactical play.
