Noticed tonight (after too long out the game, forgot how much fun it is (when Jack isn't being a haxxor noob and killing me that is)) that you can pick stuff up, like gamegirls, lona misas and packets of fags What exactly do they do in standard gameplay? Normally I would stick them in my backpack and die whilst doing so, but what else do they do? Can I light up after a successful kill? Do I have time for a quick game of tetris? Do her eyes really follow me across the battlefield?

*Sorry if this question has been asked and answered, but I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy.........

go to the armory (the dark container building) and sell it there. With the RPs you can buy calls (btw you were lucky as Lona Misa is the most valuable/rare item in the game yet). There are in general one armory every 2 bases, so if you have pretty valuable stuff in your backpack it might not be the worst idea to sell it before you lose it when dying.
You also get RP over time so that you will get enough RP to buy calls at a high enough rate anyway.
Item looting might make more sense in invasion also.
With the RPs you can also buy weapons and refill your grenades if you happen to have an armory nearby.
I might post images of where the armories and stashes are located on the maps tomorrow.

*note You only gain RP over time after rank 3.
