Thundershot sound modification Thundershot is a sound overhaul mod that gives all weapons more powerful and distinctive firing and reload sounds. Most other sounds, like explosions, ricocheting bullets, hit soldiers or falling bodies are replaced to further enhance the atmosphere. The mod is not intended to make the game sound more realistic, but rather make the player feel the danger of the battles where a single bullet is often enough to kill. Video (beta 0.2, archaic I know but it has to suffice for now): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYla3ZCwCeE Download: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54710394/thundershot_beta89.rar Install instructions: - Extract the archive into your main RWR directory - Enable it in the map change screen - That's it, enjoy the mod! Note that Thundershot is not compatible with any overlays which change projectile files as well as any mods that replace sound files. Mods replacing textures or models should work fine. |

Not exactly the best place for mods, this forums. Maybe RwR should be added on ModDB, that would get us some new blood here. |

Just tested Thundershot with the new Running with Rifles version and (as expected) it still works fine. There aren't any new sounds expect chainlink and weapon dropping sound and both of these are okay in original. |
