Heyho,

could you tell me what kind of attributes the .wav file should have? Hz / Kbs / xx-bit-float / mono or stereo?

If i add a custom sound with the following it is not heard:

Mono,
44100 Hz
32-BitFloat

Is there anything else to pay attention to?

I believe it is 22050 Hz, thats how to get the bit-rate to 705 (the rate that RWR uses)

Ah yes, in stereo it is 22050 and 16 bit,
In mono it is 44100 and 16-bit
My mistake :)

Heyho,

thanks for the quick replies.

I managed to get my sounds ingame. (To people using audacity: check the hz of the track and of the project [mine were different])

A little pack:

- AKsu
- PPsh
- MP40

- American Skin (kinda WW2)
- German Skin (kinda WW2)

Hope this works!

If anyone could get in some screenies, i'd be very thankful :3

Updated for Beta 0.68. All new weapons are in (including their cycle and reload sounds) and the old sounds were tweaked to work better with the new ones.

Does this work with newer updates?

The pewpew guns are a little weak for my tastes too. Ive shot guns before and although I dont want my ears to bleed, something more substantial sounding would be nice.

I'm pretty sure this mod is just for the 0.68. Which is a few versions behind us. IF the creator would update it to the newer 0.75, you would be able to play. Although I have never tried this, I'm sure it wont work due to it's several versions behind us.

there is no reason why this shouldn't work with the actual version, those are just different wav files for the sound effects. Also I just tried those out, funny but ouch my ears :D
