I am sorry but I won't do that. Unfortunately I don't have much free time - updating this mod to beta .79 took me more than a week of on and off work, despite having only a few new sounds.

Try searching on free sound databases like http://www.freesound.org/. Sometimes you can find some really good stuff there, especially if you are willing to do a bit of editing yourself, and it doesn't require much effort besides registering and downloading the sounds.

Beta .83 update

- New sounds for M16 and Famas
- Each weapon now has its own unique reload sound
- Sounds for rockets/mortar shells hitting vehicles
- Sounds for bullets hitting soldiers
- New stabbing sound
- Improved LAW firing sound
- Possibly some other things I don't rember :D

Does this not work for .84 or is it just me?

EDIT: It was just me.

This mod is really good. The guns actually feel.. like they can kill now. Makes this game much more immersive and fun.

Still using this mod and loving it. Do you think you could do another update? The Tank MG sounds pretty weak. The other new guns have beefier sounds as is so I don't notice it.

Oh, and the sound of bullets hitting vehicles is so awesome.

Glad you like it so much! Yes, I am still going to update the mod. In fact, this is an update! :D

Beta .89.1 update
- Tanks now sound properly badass
- Sounds for all the new weapons (except VSS Vintorez, but including the TOW launcher)
- 3 new explosion sounds
- Disabled the weapon-specific reload sounds

The reason for turning off the new weapon reloads is that it requires replacing entire weapon files, which makes the mod break whenever the weapon balance changes. Replacing the projectile files is already risky enough as is.
