“Clairemont” (Beta Version 2.2)
A fictional “European” city set on a peninsula.

This map is a reimagining of one I made a long time ago for a Quake 2 mod.
I designed the map using the “Running With Democracies” mod created by harrified. The map will run just fine with default RWR as well.

Green Team and Gray Team must fight throughout the city and across the river to take control of the city of Clairemont. Intense close quarters combat awaits you!

Recommended play settings:
300 - 600 troops.

Bugs/issues:
AI will sometimes spawn outside of the city, but it should not affect gameplay.
AI may (rarely) spawn inside of buildings, or fall from the sky.
AI bunching up/ not fighting throughout the city as well as they should

Please let me know if you run into any bugs or other issues with the map. I have tried to extensively play test the map on my own and among some friends before its public release.

This is very minor - only an aesthetic thing, but I noticed the town part in the Bottom right corner is labeled town SW when the top-most capzone is labeled "Town (N)" and the bridge directly north of "Town(SW)" is labeled "Bridge (E)"... Shouldn't it be "Town(SE)"? :P

Hi,

Thanks to pasik I can finally log back into the fourms and say that I will be updating this map so it will work with the current version of RWR. I hope to have it out in the next few weeks. (My schedule permitting.)

ZnasVecKo: Yes. I'm going to try and expand the map to include the area outside of town as well!

bwc153: Good catch! I will fix that in the new version.

New version uploaded! Get it from the first post. Despite trying to expand the map to include the southern portion, I decided to keep the map confined to the city. The gameplay wasn't the same with the expansion.
