NOTICE: If anyone knows of a good program for creating .mesh's, please let me know. I got blender and another modeling program, but the .mesh exporter I found for them didn't seem to work, or I didn't install it correctly. I've never done much with modeling before, as I found out I'm not the most artistic person, but creating small models for this should be doable. It's anarchy! Fighting in the streets is rampant. Who's right? Who's wrong? Who cares! Running With Anarchy is an upcoming mod I'm working on in my spare time. It's definitely in its infancy, but it's coming along pretty well. Police Armory Police Models 1 Police Models 2 Police Models 3 Gangster Armory Gangster Models 1 Gangster Models 2 Gangster Models 3 Gangster Models 4 Gangster Models 5 Mafia Armory Mafia Models 1 Mafia Models 2 Cops vs Gangsters There's 4 teams as of now, and three are just about finished. I'm creating new weapons, player models, and maybe vehicles at some point, and incorporating custom sounds of the actual weapons firing. Each team has unique weapons. Each team will have multiple models with some special units.I'll add more if there seems to be too few models. The mod's weapons and vehicles are subject to change based on balancing issues in the future and any ideas I come up with or you guys give me. Running With Anarchy is also a sort of satirical mod. There's stereotypes thrown in and some seriously unconventional (and made up) weapons for balance and comedy's sake. THE TEAMS The Police The police incorporate typical American law enforcement/military weapons to protect the city from threats. Primary Weapons: Code: M4A1 MP5 Remington 870 M1014 Remington 700 (M24 Sniper) Barrett M82 M249 40MM Milkor MGL M60E4 -- Note: can only be shot laying down. This is inaccurate, as the M60 was designed to be used as an LMG, but I wanted to give each team a "HMG" and a LMG. Beanbag Shotgun -- Note: Does not inflict damage, but will stun the enemy if hit directly (like a stun grenade) RARE: Code: None yet Secondary Weapons: Code: M72 LAW .38 Snubnose Revolver Glock 37 Police Barricade (cover) RARE: Code: Beretta M9 S&W Model 629 Grenades: Code: M84 Stun Grenade M67 Frag Grenade Items: Code: Police Vest (armor) The Gangsters Typical hoodlum street gang trying to take the city for themselves. They use high capacity, mainly sawed off/concealable weapons which have slightly worse accuracy than the other factions in general. Primary Weapons: Code: Modified AR15 (automatic) Tec-9 Sawed-off Shotgun Ithaca M37 Hunting Rifle (no specific real-world counterpart, just a generic rifle) PKM LMG Sawed-off M79 Type 88 HMG RARE: Code: None yet Secondary Weapons: Code: Potato Launcher -- Note: Launches explosive potatoes (it's their rocket launcher, I said this would get silly) Mac-10 Lorcin .25 pistol Barrels (cover) RARE: Code: None yet Grenades: Code: Faulty burner phone Items: Code: Bulletproof Vest The Mafia The Mafia uses mainly World War II weapons and dresses in accordance with that time (think Mafia II). Primary Weapons: Code: Thompson 1928 "Tommy Gun" BAR 1918 Double Barrel Shotgun Winchester 1897 (Trench Gun) M1 Garand M1903 Springfield (Scoped) M1941 Johnson LMG M7 Grenade Launcher M1919 Browning HMG RARE: Code: None yet Secondary Weapons: Code: Pipe Bomb Launcher (rocket launcher) M1911 S&W Model 27 Boxes (cover) RARE: Code: None yet Grenades: Code: MKII Hand Grenade Items: Code: Steel Plate Vest The Terrorists Your typical Middle Eastern terrorist group (ISIS, Al Qaeda). They utilize mainly Soviet-era weaponry. Primary Weapons: Code: AK47 FN FAL Mosin Nagant TOZ-194 Mosin Nagant (scoped) PSL Sniper Rifle RPK LMG 40MM Milkor MGL DShK HMG RARE: Code: None yet Secondary Weapons: Code: RPG-7 Desert Eagle Mini Uzi Sandbags (cover) RARE: Code: None yet Grenades: Code: IED Charges Items: Code: Armored Turban (armor) I am looking for suggestions on other weapons, including rares! Right now, all HUD weapon images are realistic/real pictures of weapons with no background. If anyone wants to help out with the mod and can create some cool art or clean them up a bit, please feel free to message me. I'm currently working full time, so I'm not sure how often I'll be able to give updates, but I'll try my best. |

I've been super busy, but working on it in my spare time. I've got the gangsters and police done other than rare weapons, barricades, and vehicles. I'll try to get the mafia done by the end of the week, if possible. I still need a good way to model for .mesh files... |

Didn't quite get the progress I wanted by last Friday, but I'm still chugging along. Just need to finish up the player models for the Mafia, and then implement the weapon options (models are done) and the Mafia should be finished. I'll get some screenshots up of both the Gangsters and the Mafia once I finish. After that, I'll just have the terrorists, plus any rare weapons I want to add. I'll dedicate my time to getting .mesh files to work with blender after that and hopefully making some vehicles/cover. |
