I made a small factions mod in a day. It uses 3 custom models. One basic soldier, an armored soldier, and an "elite" soldier. It includes Japanese name lists. There are custom rank icons for the HUD. I'm currently having trouble with some of them. I created the rank icons to be transparent around the image, yet in-game some of them are showing a black box around the rest full PNG image. If anyone knows why, I'd appreciate the help! I plan on creating custom Japanese WW2 era weapons, but haven't got around to making the models yet. I plan to include custom sounds of course, but also I'm going to try to create a katana weapon that increases the movement speed slightly when holding.

To install, you just need to exctract the vanilla folder into your own base games folder, merge the two. Then add the faction "red.xml" to your all_factions.xml file in your factions folder.
