Next version is out! Probably will be the end of my update spurt here until the next RwR patch. :) I've added Fallschirmjagers to the Wehrmacht call-in list - these elite soldiers are armed with FG42s, MG42s, and lots and lots of Panzerfausts. They come in 5-man paradrops, useful for taking lightly defended territories. Lots more has been added, read the changelog in the OP.

Can I play as paratrooper, commando or fallschirmjager? I mean, not only have their gun, but a skin too?

Not yet - those skins in the code are only available to those specific soldiers. Although I believe pasik is going to be adding a uniform change for when you rank up.

I'll whip up a quick vest for each nation's call-in unit now, actually.

Actually, if that refers to the same thing that is doable with e.g.

then it should be already in.

Not sure how well it works as it's not used by vanilla.

Basically it would be easy to add support for defining the soldier group for a player character in the game, but changing it can only take place at respawn / first spawn.

Oh? Well, that might help. :)

Wonder if anyone has noticed those US officers running around. :)

Might implement something like that for the British with NCOs. Prepare for Lieutenants and Captains to start running around amongst the commoners. :D

Well, the Wehrmacht do get that Panzershreck, which is horribly OP in humans hands as of now. :D More damage than any other weapon in the game, reloadable with a new fancy animation, very fast rocket speed - I'm pretty sure you could kill a Radio Tower in a few shots.

I'll have to whip up something for the US Forces then. Thinking about just a timed version of the Demo Charge, sort of like the old Satchel Charge all the factions used to have.

Forgot about the Panzerschreck, works pretty well against the towers.

Very much updated to the latest version. :) In fact, I'm 5 updates in and working on the 6th for this game version alone.

@pasik
Hm, doesn't seem to be working. I've added in skins for the British, the Captain skin for example has it set from 2.0 to 10.0, but when I spawn in at 3000 XP, it doesn't show the skin.
